---Herbalife Donated over 2.6 million RMB to the Red Cross Society Sichuan Branch and sent health products worth over 2 million RMB to the Relief Army who arrived first at the disaster area
12th May, 2008 is an extremely sorrowful day for the Chinese people when the unprecedented earthquake stroke Sichuan, the Land of Abundance. We team Herbalife, we Chinese people, and peoples around the world as a whole, are all concerned about the devastation. After the disaster, HFF has established a specialized China Earthquake Relief Hotline on the internet, meanwhile Herbalife International Chairman and CEO Michael Johnson sent a proposal to all employees and distributors initiating joint efforts to the earthquake relief. HFF and Herbalife (China) immediately donated 2 million RMB to the Red Cross Society Sichuan Branch when all the subsidiary companies all over the country started to conduct various donations and charity events to share their loving with the victims under the HO’s proposal of “Herbalife, sharing love with victims in the disaster area”. On 2nd June, the health products worth over 2 million RMB and materials representing the respect and caring of Herbalife were delivered to Wenchuan by Herbalife Sichuan Branch. At the same time, charity events were held by Herbalife distributors and staffs in various regions, the total amount of donation was over 2.6milion by now. Every single one in Herbalife team bears in mind that Mark Hughes once said “You must treat people with love and affection from your whole heart!”
